Lumin Abraham
BIM Estimating manager
Serving as the Building Information Modeling Estimating Manager, Lumin works with each Limbach branch to provide support on major projects, particularly design-build delivery. With ten years of experience, Lumin is an invaluable asset to both Limbach Engineering & Design Services (LEDS) and the branches strategically located around the country.
Lumin joined the Limbach family in 2011. As an expert in the field of Mechanical Engineering, Lumin has spent a considerable amount of time working in the healthcare, education, high-rise, specialty labs and transit market segments. He’s contributed to a number of high profile projects during his tenure with LEDS, including Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, Michigan, the Marriott Hotel and Apartment building in Washington, D.C., Universal Studios in Orlando, FL and JAX Net Zero Facility in Jacksonville, FL. Lumin’s value has been regularly recognized, as he earned both the Attention to Detail Award and the Award of Excellence in 2013 and the 1st Choice Teamwork Award in 2015.
In 2006, Lumin earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Maryland. After, Lumin worked for a Mechanical Contractor in the Washington, D.C. area as an Assistant Project Manager while completing his Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering in 2011.
Success outside of the workplace is equally, if not more important here at Limbach. Lumin cites his wife and young son as his mains sources of motivation. In his spare time, he plays both guitar and bass for his church. In addition, Lumin enjoys staying active by playing soccer and basketball.
